Why should I bother?
If someone doesn’t reply, I’m not going to ask why. If someone doesn’t care about me, I’m not going to waste time and act like I do. If someone doesn’t like me, then they don’t. I move on, and get over it. I don’t waste time with someone that doesn’t want to spend time with me. Don’t care about me? Sure, I won’t care about you.
